A Pawfect Match - Seaside Greyhounds

Seaside Greyhounds is an independent homing centre for retired racing greyhounds in the UK. Established in 2020 and located on the coastof Lincolnshire, the team are committed to ensuring every retired greyhound in their care finds a loving forever home and a cozy spot on the sofa. We’ve teamed up with Seaside Greyhounds to share a selection of the beautiful hounds at their kennels looking for homes. Who knows, you may even find your pawfect match!   

Lugsy

Lugsy is a sweet white and black greyhound with an adorable personality. Lugsy is six years old and was born on 8/4/2018 so is a spring chick. The team at Seaside feel Lugsy would prefer an adult only home to allow him to feel more settled and at ease. The owners would need to be pro-active and ensure he enjoys walking on his own due to being reactive towards some breeds. Not taking away from the fact he is adorable and super clean in his kennel, creating an amazing companion in the home.  

Anna

The gorgeous Anna steals anyone's hearts. Anna has an immaculate black shiny coat and is keen on being groomed and pampered. She has just celebrated her fourth birthday on the 22nd January, her wish being to find her forever home. Anna is very happy go lucky and would prefer a home where she could be the only dog as she likes all of the attention. However, the team believe Anna could live with children over the age of 10 years old but no cats!.  

Paddy

It’s the luck of the Paddys, this handsome boy is five years old, celebrating his birthday on the 19th September. Paddy is so cuddly and kind and is amused by playing with his toys; he’s a playful soul with lots of love and life to provide a home! Paddy gets on well with other greyhounds and would need mingling with other breeds but would suit a multi-dog home.  

Luna  

Luna certainly has a butter wouldn’t melt face, especially with her distinct black markings on her fluffy white coat. Luna is three years old, her date of birth being 2/9/2021. Luna walks very well on the lead and loves nothing more than playing with her toys and with the other greyhounds at the kennels. The team would prefer her to go to a cat free home but would happily home her with another greyhound.  

Boss 

He may be named the ‘Boss’ but this handsome chap is a sensitive soul. Boss is a beautiful black male who is three years old, his birthday being 10/9/2021. Boss has been in a home before, so does have home experience but is a bit guarded when in new environments. Boss would need a quieter home with understanding owners who would take their time to understand his needs.  

These greyhounds are all charming in their own ways and proves no greyhound is the same. We really hope all five of them are on the way to finding a home very soon.
